Spencer thought it would be a good idea to stick his fingers in a new set of whiffle balls. They got stuck and started to turn purple. When Spencer heard me mention this he explained with a good deal of exasperation, "That doesn't sound good!" Then I told him I thought we'd have to cut them off. He had a look of horror on his face until I explained I would be cutting the balls and not his fingers! It was really a pretty funny event and all turned out fine.
