Kent and I got to go on a little get-away this week to The Stephanie Inn in Cannon Beach, Oregon.  He was given a gift card at work some time ago for a project he worked on and we were excited to use it to celebrate our 9th anniversary.  The Inn was beautiful with incredible views.  

The room included a wine & cheese hour as well as a night cap and a delicious breakfast.  We also opted to dine in their incredible restaurant.  I would definitely recommend it for dinner to anyone who is staying in Cannon beach and wants to do something special.  The chef changes the menu daily, making it even more interesting.  The Chef also came out to explain the entrees and then visited the tables afterwards to make sure everyone was happy.  I did walk away with a souvenir cookbook as well... how could I not? 

It was a wonderful time with my sweet husband to talk without being interrupted, have a great time together being silly, not refill milk for small children or change diapers.  Now we just have to figure out how to do this every 6 months.  My Mom & Dad were wonderful with coming out and taking care of our boys so we could have this special time together.
