Easter Morning

We didn't make it to church this year for Easter Sunday which does in fact bother me. There's always next year. But I do believe God sees importance in family and keeping those bonds close. At least that's what I keep telling myself. He also believes in naps for 2 year olds which are easier to come by if the family festivities are in the morning. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Our morning started out at 6:30am when Hudson bounded down the stairs excited for Easter. Spencer followed about 15 minutes later. We held them off until 7:00am when we woke up Finley. The kids were of course adorable as they wandered through the house searching for eggs and what the Easter Bunny might have left for them.

Yay! An Egg!

Finley going through his Easter Basket in his Christmas pajamas. I have no idea how that happened.

The Easter Bunny was clever this year. He left letter clues inside the eggs so the kids could find a surprise! Can you figure out what the surprise is and where it is?

Clever Spencer (with a little help), figured out the words spell "Alvin" and "Chair." Eventually he figured out which chair their new DVD was taped under. The boys were VERY excited.

An attempted photo of the terrific trio. And their new Webkins pets that the boys named themselves. Dodo the lamb, Slinky the Springer Spaniel and Sharpie the Shar Pei. Slinky makes me want to get a Springer Spaniel puppy. Almost.
