One of my favorite things to do every year is go hiking at Tryon Creek. I love that it's near our old home and we can drive by and gawk at it. I also love that we can go out to eat at my favorite Portland spot afterwards (Chez Jose). Mmmmmmm squash enchiladas!
The hike itself is the perfect length for littles, with more daunting trails as they get older. It's also very woodsy. We joke that to go on a good hike we have to leave the country and go to the city. So true!
