Yesterday was the day that Spencer has been looking forward to all summer long. This kid absolutely LOVES school. In fact, he was the only child crying on the last day of first grade because he was so sad to see it end.
It seems unreal that it could possibly be time for the school year to start. For one thing, it's HOT. It's supposed to be 97 degrees today! To make this even odder, we really didn't have a lot of super nice days until late in the year this summer so summer kinda blurred on by.
Spencer is super excited for his new school year and LOVES his new teacher, Mrs. Hall. He is also excited that he has several dear friends in class with him.

Love it! Glad Spence loves his teacher :) The pic of all the kiddos in the gym choked me up. Miss all of you, what an awesome school!
I think most moms are feeling the same way about school due to our weird summer weather and then it being so hot right now. It seems like I didn't get my fill of river swims and evenings reading in my backyard. B was excited about school too! Does Hudson start K this year?
