I hear this parade is the second biggest in Oregon... even ahead of the Grand Floral Parade in the number of entries. But what I don't get is that we don't have one single Marching Band... I'm not complaining per say, I just think it's interesting... But what we do have is candy... lots and lots of candy... I seriously think that 99% of the entrants throw candy at the kids (some harder than others)! The kids of course absolutely love this! Oh... but I must mention that the local dentist threw toothpaste! The fun part of living in a small town is you actual know several of the entrants in the parade... so I also have photos of some of our friends walking in the heat... boy was it hot that morning!
