What time is it?

IT'S RIVER TIME!

This question was a popular one throughout our very fun and CRAZY weekend on the Rogue River with fabulous friends!

Our wonderful friend's Jolene's parents own a river rafting business and she and her husband Aaron invited us to go on a camping trip with them and two other families.  Collectively we had 8 adults and 11 kids traveling down south 4 1/2 hours.  That's a long time in the car!  On the way there was not exactly a blast with Finley... he does not like the car.  He gets BORED.  We did learn on the way home that if we played a movie he actually LIKED that our car ride was much much better. Lesson learned.  Happy baby=happy parents.

The weather was incredibly hot.  It was around 100+ degrees the whole time we were there and it really didn't cool down much at night.  We were so thankful that we had the river to cool down in!  We were so proud of all the kids... despite the heat they really slept fantastic at night and they played together so well!  We also really enjoyed the fellowship and company with our dear friends.  Adult time to chat around the campfire was indeed time well spent (okay, not too close to the fire... it was hot out people)!

I will have to post more photos another day and blog about the actual rafting (SO FUN) but I thought the one above was a good one to start with.  Gotta love the goofy man who ducked into our photo behind us LOL.  You'll have to click on the photo to see it big in order to see him though.
