Kent's Art Work

Every once in a while I like to share about a talent my husband has. He's in fact an amazing artist. He works in several mediums, including oil, scratchboard and watercolor. But one of my favorite things he does is sketches from photographs. He does such a beautiful job!

We went to my cousin's house this weekend for a party and they had some of his recent work beautifully on display in their hallway. In this photo you can see their children's most current photos along the top with the drawings that Kent did of them as babies below each photo. Serena did such a great job arranging them on their wall and I couldn't help but take a photo. Please click on the photo, so you can see it in greater detail.

The middle one (of Stewart), is of special significance. Aaron and Serena had recently moved to Biloxi, Mississippi when Hurricane Katrina hit. It was one of the few items they evacuated with. So the drawing truly represents quite a lot to them.
If anyone is interested in hiring Kent for artwork, please let me know!

One medium you didn't mention where Kent works exceptionally well is brewing ale.

Kent is truly a renaissance man.
