Today I have started Weight Watchers. Getting the baby weight off this time around has been much harder than I have found it to be in the past. I've also put myself really low on the priority list, eating convenience foods on the fly. I've determined it's time.
It's time to demonstrate a good relationship with food to my boys - to see Mom eating balanced meals, proper portions and healthy items.
It's time to show my boys that exercise is a vital part of life
It's time for my clothes to feel good and to get into some of those great pieces in my closet!
It's time to feel confident and pretty for my husband
It's time to do this for me... so I can live a long and healthy, vibrant life
My first meeting is tonight. I pray that this is just the beginning of a stronger and healthier me. And that I will have the determination to continue on this path. Here I go!

Way to go Sally! I did WW last year and it worked for me. Stick with it long enough for it to really change your lifestyle and then it won't be just a diet. I stuck with it for 7 months and made it to lifetime membership. Since Kate's come home I've lost some of my momentum and gained some stress (along with the good stuff), but today is my "get started on exercise again" day. Have "fun" at the meeting!
I am so proud of you!!! I know that you will do great!!! I am here to help you in any way that I can.
I found your blog on your facebook site. Yeah!! I just started on on Christmas day- www.blessedinwy.blogspot.com
Good luck on the ww and modeling good eating. It's amazing what those boys pick up on! I too am wondering why it is soooo difficult to keep trim...oh, maybe the chocolate and the age thing...

I wish you strength and perseverance! I'm proud of you and I know you can do it!! xoxo
Best of luck, Sally! I sure could use getting on the bandwagon again. It worked so well for me last year!
Good Luck! It sounds like you are determined to set a great example for your boys and to take care of yourself. It's hard to think about yourself when you're a busy mom, but it does make you a better mom in the long run. I have to keep telling myself that!!
You are going to do great, we have babies the same age, and I know it's hard! I hope your meeting went well, try the soup weight watchers has in the book you get on your first night, it helps me a lot...the vegetable one. Good luck!
Wow! Thanks for all the encouragement Ladies! Having such a spectacular support network *definitely* helps.
